Digital Spy kirjoitti:George Galloway: 'Tommy playing a blinder'
George Galloway believes that Tommy's political stance makes him one of the favourites to win Big Brother.
Tommy, who caused controversy last week by singing 'Fields Of Athenry' on live TV, is one of the bookmakers' favourites for eviction.
However, George wrote in the Daily Record that Tommy "might be in with a chance of being the last one out".
George also called Tommy the "voice of reason" and added that the socialist politician was "playing a blinder" by "staying out of trouble" and "keeping his eyes off the women".
IBB kirjoitti:Big Brother frozen out by ‘Ice’
Big Brother came fourth in its slot
Big Brother was no match for ITV’s ratings juggernaut Dancing on Ice last night, as the highlights show failed to reach 3m viewers.
Yesterday’s highlights show, featuring the housemates performing a ‘Call on Me’ dance task, drew an audience of 2.6m (10%).
On Channel 4, 2.2m (9%) tuned in at 9pm, while a further 350,000 watched on C4+1.
Big Brother was no match for BBC One and ITV1’s offerings last night.
ITV1 was the clear winner, grabbing an impressive 8.4m (32%) for Dancing on Ice. The show peaked at 8pm with 9.6m (36%). Wild at Heart followed with 7.1m (27%) at 8.30pm, and Dancing on Ice: The Skate Off pulled in 6.3m (25%) at 9.30pm.
BBC One held up well against a very strong ITV1 schedule, as Antiques Roadshow interested 6.4m (25%) at 7pm. Drama Lark Rise to Candleford intrigued 5.7m (21%), while Swarm attracted 4.9m (19%).
Even BBC Two brought home some good ratings, with the final of the World Darts picking up 3.1m (13%). The Real Sir Alan hired 3.0m (12%) at 9pm.
Channel 4 have also confirmed the weekend ratings today, according to their overnight data:
Friday 9pm - 3.8m (14%)
Friday 10.35pm - 2.4m (15%)
Saturday - 2.3m (10%)
CBB6 is currently unofficially averaging 3.2m (14%), ranking as the least watched series ever.
Digital Spy kirjoitti:Dom Joly: 'I hate Tina'
Dom Joly revealed to George Lamb on Big Brother's Little Brother that he "hates Tina beyond all expression" tonight.
Commenting hypothetically on how he would feel to be in the house with Tina, Joly said: "The moment I saw Tina I would've been out there in minutes, I'd have climbed the wall, I can't stand her."
He went on to state that his entire family hate her, including his wife, children and Labrador.
The Trigger Happy TV star was shown some clips of Tina, during which she boasted to housemates: "I'll say the things nobody's ever said to you." The footage then cut to her biting her tongue while Coolio sang to her during the paparazzi task.
"She’s one of those people that criticises other people and she doesn't realise that what she's actually doing is describing herself, so the way she describes Coolio is exactly her,” commented Joly. He went on to criticise her for "not saying anything to Coolio", adding that she should "say it" and "have a fight".
Predicting a potential "mushroom cloud" for week three if Tina stays in the house, he said: "This whole series is basically gearing up to the big fight between Coolio and Tina. You put Coolio as Head of House, you'll get that, possibly with Ulrika coming in as well."
Digital Spy kirjoitti:Coolio branded 'The Irritant' on BBLB
A clip showing heated arguments between Tommy and Coolio entitled 'The Irritant Vs The Militant' was shown on Big Brother's Little Brother tonight.
Following criticism from George Lamb about how "brave guy" Tommy had "only just started to stand up to Coolio", Tommy’s wife told him: "I think he squared up to him earlier on than a week ago."
She said: "I don't think anybody has actually pushed his buttons. If there were any instances of injustice or anybody was really upset, then believe you me, he will get in there."
The discussion moved on to Coolio's recent moves to antagonise Ben and Michelle about their feelings for each other. A video clip was played showing Ben telling Coolio that he did not want to argue with him, to which Coolio replied: "I want you to."
Fellow A1 boyband member Mark Read commented: "I don’t think Ben's going to play this game, Coolio's made it clear he is trying to push everybody's buttons."
However, he concluded that Ben has "quite a hot temper" and that "it is getting to that point"
Digital Spy kirjoitti:Lucy: 'Katie Price is vile and jealous'
Lucy Pinder has called Katie Price "vile" and "jealous" in response to derogatory comments the glamour model made about her.
During Lucy’s time in the house, Price publicly voiced her opinion on her rival, claiming that she had surgery on her teeth, lips and nose and branding her "a bloke with bollocks".
Speaking in Star magazine, Lucy retaliated but insisted she does not want to start a war of words.
"You know what, Victoria summed [Katie] up in one word: Vile. That’s what she is," she said.
"I don’t want to dignify her comments by getting into a slanging match but I have not had a nose job or a boob job.
Digital Spy kirjoitti:Coolio 'watched by BB psychologists'
Big Brother psychologists are watching Coolio to ensure that he does not offend his female celebrity housemates, reports the Daily Star.
According to the newspaper, the rapper is just one complaint away from being taken off the reality show.
Housemates Michelle, Mutya and Ulrika are to be called to the Diary Room to ensure that they are not feeling threatened by the 45-year-old's alleged behaviour. Producers will apparently be informed if the contestants say that they are feeling uncomfortable.
A C4 spokesman said: "Big Brother generally encourages housemates to sort out their disagreements themselves through discussion and this has been successful with the celebrity housemates.
"Big Brother can choose to take a more active hand - from discussions with housemates in the Diary Room to formal warnings if necessary."
Digital Spy kirjoitti:Michelle's boyfriend: 'Ben is no threat'
Michelle's boyfriend has revealed that he is not concerned about Ben and Michelle getting close in the Big Brother house.
Hugh Hanley met Michelle on the Irish version of The X Factor after she split from husband Andy Scott Lee, allegedly for kissing someone else while on holiday.
However, the advertising executive told New! magazine: "There's no chemistry between them. Michelle and I wouldn't have a good relationship if I got jealous of her just talking to a lad!"
He also revealed his belief that Michelle is only upset by Coolio because she is worried references to a potential romance with Ben will damage their friendship.
"Michelle and Ben knew each other before they went into the house," said Hugh, "so obviously they're going to hang out together. Ben's a lovely fella - I'm not worried.
"Michelle just got a bit wound up by how derogatory Coolio was about their friendship."
Digital Spy kirjoitti:Fleeshman 'asked to appear on CBB'
Tabloid reports have said that singer Richard Fleeshman was asked to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.
According to New! magazine, Fleeshman was the producer's first choice as "this year's CBB totty". A1's Ben Adams was allegedly drafted in as a replacement.
"I don't mind watching Big Brother, but I would never appear. It’s just not for me," said Fleeshman.
"It's a bit early for me to do that kind of show, plus I am a hugely private person and would not want people to see my faults!"
Fleeshman found fame on Coronation Street, playing Craig Harris between 2002 and 2006. He launched a music career in 2007 after winning TV talent show Soapstar Superstar.
Digital Spy kirjoitti:Lucy offered spot on 'Daily Politics'
Ex-housemate Lucy Pinder has been offered a guest spot on BBC show Daily Politics.
The Mirror reports that she has been invited on to the show to talk about what she would do if she were Prime Minister for the day.
Lucy admitted that she is a Tory supporter on her profile video prior to entering the house. As part of the group's Talent Night task, she was asked to give an anti-Labour speech to the other housemates.
Her speech led Terry to label her the 'least talented' housemate and she was subsequently voted out.
Digital Spy kirjoitti:Lucy accuses BB of Coolio cover-up
Lucy Pinder has claimed that Big Brother has covered up some of Coolio's most inappropriate behaviour.
Racist language, comments about rape, and threatening behaviour by the rapper have been cut from the show by BB bosses, reports the Daily Star.
Since entering the house, the rapper has allegedly said the "N-word" several times and told of violent sex, bragging that he has never raped a woman "because I never had to". The ousted housemate said: "I think the public should know what he is really like. A lot is not being shown. I'd only been there 48 hours and he came out and told me, 'I've never raped a woman... I’ve never had to'."
A Channel 4 spokesman said that housemates' behaviour is watched at all times, and also denied claims made by Pinder that she has been warned off speaking about Coolio.
Lucy said: "Every time I have done a live interview I have tried to slip it in about how bad he actually is. But they cut me off. On Big Brother's Little Brother I managed to say a bit about him. But the host George Lamb had the producers in his ear telling him to move me on."
Digital Spy kirjoitti:Ulrika and Tina "faked" reactions
Tina and Ulrika “faked” their reactions to being nominated this week, according to a psychologist.
The reactions of the four nominated housemates were scrutinised by Dr Rob Yeung on Big Brother’s Little Brother tonight.
He analysed the faces of Michelle, Ulrika, Mutya and Tina following a video clip of results and said: “A couple of them just seem to be playing a very devious game.”
Dr Yeung outlined three main ways to spot a fake - a disconnection between the eyes and face “where there’s a grimace, but their eyes show emptiness”, a change in the natural tone of voice because “they’re trying to control everything, but they can’t” and an instant smile because “too many teeth aren’t real”.
Michelle and Mutya’s reactions were both described as genuine, but Ulrika was accused of “faking” because her response was “too instant”. Yeung explained that she seemed to have decided to look excited and then pretend to stop herself.
He described Tina as having a disconnect between the upper and lower half of her “strange-looking” face and concluded that she “secretly” wants to stay in the house.
