By the way, is it true that Sandras mother is Finnish? There has been speculations about it.

I have no info about that. First time a have read this info was here. Probably bad info.

That rumor seems to have started from this thread on the "official" Big Brother Finland discussion forum (subject.sub.fi). The poster who opened the thread claims Sandra would be coming to Finland, that one of her parents is supposedly Finnish and that she would even speak fluent Finnish herself... but no references are given to back any of this up.

Apparently, Tero Paloniemi - a Finnish blogger "specialized" on BB and writing about it for one of the biggest tabloids in Finland - then simply copied the misinformation from that post and repeated it as a fact in one of his blog entries without doing any background checks.

The person who originally started this by posting the incorrect facts has now admitted he fabricated the entire story. It was just a joke or a troll inspired by Sandra's last name ("Auer" also happens to be a Finnish last name, so that's where he got the idea) and he says he's been in stitches following up on how the false rumor has spread like wildfire and even appeared in the tabloids.

About Stojan Auer - he is not famous anymore. He competed for the mayor of Maribor- the second biggest city in Slovenia - but failed - he was on the fourth place.

I think it's on Saturday. Maybe it will release in Slovenia on Friday and then on Saturday one housemate leave the house. On Sunday she or he will enter to our house (and this has already been told us).

It has been speculated that the decorations in the house - including the subway map motif on the living room wall and the Italian language texts on one of the bedroom walls - could somehow foreshadow the exchange. But that theory seems quite stretched now as they don't even refer to the same country.

This year's house (and the entire season) has been something of a disappointment. First of all, the BBF production was moved to another place after 5 seasons in the same warehouse and they had to build a totally new BB house for 2010... OK, sounds good this far, but this small, dull gray house is what they came up with! (See the articles near the bottom of the page for various image galleries.)

In addition to that, casting (what kind of housemates were selected to live in the house) has been almost uniformly bad this year, the weekly tasks have mostly been boring and unentertaining, and we have already witnessed two forced ejections and one voluntary exit, each removing a potential finalist and making the show duller.

(The fairness of those two forced ejections is also at suspect. Some of the remaining housemates have committed similar misdemeanors during the season without getting ejected.)

If anything particularly entertaining or interesting should happen in the Big Brother Slavnih house, it would be nice if the Slovene users on BBPlaza could post some brief updates (and possibly links to related media on the official website or elsewhere) in the "CBB Slovenia 1 (Big Brother Slavnih) LIVE" thread for our enjoyment.

These updates need not necessarily concern the housemate exchange or the weekly or daily tasks as such even though reports on such things are also welcome. You could just as well write about other little things; for instance, quote interesting or funny pieces of dialog or report on the various small incidents that have recently occurred in the house. Bonus points for reporting on events which somehow exemplify the personality of the BBS housemates and could serve as an "introduction" to them for the Finnish viewers!

Or you can simply report about some random funny incident that has recently occurred in the house, so we can have a laugh about it too.

The decorative elements on the walls of that room remind me of the Big Brother Finland 2009 (BBF5) house... I liked that more than this year's house.

Today's task was a scientific one. They've split into 2 groups and first group went to Magic room.
Their task was as follows:
there were two vessels - one of 4 and other of 10 litres . Is it posibble to measure 6 litres using only these 2 vessels ?
There was also a container with 50 litres of coloured water.

It is from movie die hard with bruce willis and samuel jackson. Still remember famous words "SIMON SAYS" Not easy task.

P.S. 4 empty 9 empty and 50 full of water They have to calculate 6 liters of water only by fill up the empty bottles

The above pictures are of Niko Nousiainen, the housemate most likely to participate in the housemate exchange... if forum speculations are to be believed.


Niko is a second-timer in the BBF house: he was a housemate also in Big Brother Finland 2007; surviving in the house up until the final night. He didn't win the BBF 2007 season, though, but came to the third place.

When not living in the BB house, Niko performs with a risque show dancing / male strip-tease group called "Scandinavian Hunks".


But how is he now in BBF 2010?


One of the early twists this year was that Big Brother invited five old-timers from earlier seasons (one of them being Niko) to live in a secret area next to the actual BB house. The old-timers spent a couple of days there, watching the "original" 2010 housemates on TV, and were then allowed to leave the secret area and join the actual housemates in the actual BB house.

Next Sunday, only the old-timers were up for eviction and three of them were eliminated from the house in a mass eviction. The remaining two - Niko and Nino - were promoted to actual housemates, now living in the BBF 2010 house and competing for the BBF 2010 prize on equal terms with the "original" 2010 housemates.


Fans of the show remain divided on whether introducing these old-timers to this year's show was a good idea and if they should be eligible to win the prize at all.

In any case, if someone is going to go on exchange in a foreign country, and if the destination is a Celebrity Edition of Big Brother, many Finnish viewers see Niko as the most likely candidate, as he is the closest thing to a "celebrity" we have in this year's show. (Niko is by no means a "real" celebrity, though.)

Well, if he is eventually selected for the exchange and if the target country will actually be Slovenia - and not one of the other candidate countries on the list...

Niko is currently in a relationship with Miss Helsinki 2010, Sofia Ruusila. He's been talking about Sofia a lot in the house and Sofia has also visited "BB Extra", the daily talk show. They're not married, though... at least yet.
