Davina announced that the house will be divided in two this weekend, with an elected "head of house" ruling over both sides.

She teased the audience at the end of Mario’s interview, telling them that the he had escaped "in the nick of time".

"This weekend, housemates will elect their first ever head of house," she said. "This housemate will be in complete control of the whole house which will be divided into two: One side will be heaven, and the other side will be absolute hell."

She then broke into an evil cackle as footage of the unsuspecting housemates returned to viewers’ screens.

The last time Big Brother divided the house was in series three, when bars were laid throughout its entire length.

The "poor" side were forced to watch enviously as the "rich" group partied with alcohol and TV treats.

Day 38: Head of House Elections

The housemates have been asked to collectively agree on 3 candidates to run for the first Head of House election - they are DALE, DARNELL and LUKE.

Big Brother gathered the housemates earlier today and asked them to put forward the 3 names of the housemates who would battle it out in the first election to win the title of 'Head of House.'

With the title comes responsibilities including, the management of the shopping list, deciding when and how housemates use tokens, making decisions regarding tasks and most importantly IMMUNITY from next week's eviction.

Each of the agreed candidates will then have to come up with a manifesto which they will present to the rest of the group. They've been provided with chalk boards to write up their key points and have been given suits and rosettes so they look the part.

The candidates will have until tonight to campaign with their fellow housemates to secure votes, and then the group will individually cast their votes in the ballot box and Big Brother will announce who will become the first Head of House tomorrow morning.

Stuart had some wise words for the trio on the campaign trail however, stating: "If you can't run the House, you're gonna be hated the week after."

"Rex is explaining that the housemates will have to stand inside the tyre and hold their own body weight." ja kisan voittajasta tulee siis uusi Head of House. Kilpailemassa ovat Dale, Rebecca ja Maysoon - gorillapuvuissa.

Toivon, että voittaja on Maysoon.. jos ei, niin sitten Dale. Rebeccan voittokaan ei ois IHAN maailmanloppu, vaikka se varmaan valitsisikin ihan väärät tyypit taivaaseen... mutta kun sitä ei sais nimetä, niin ehkä muut tajuais nimetä Luken ja sillä tavoin saatais se idiootti pihalle.

No, kattellaan... nyt se alkaa!

edit: eli ne renkaat roikkuu köysien varassa ja Dale, Maysoon ja Bex sitten istuu niiden renkaiden päällä.. tai miten nyt sitten ovatkaan siinä Jo ennen kuin koko kisa alkoi ni Bex oli jo "I can't do it! I'm sorry I can't!" sit se ei meinannu päästä ees sen renkaan päälle, mutta pääsi lopulta. Sit alkoi heti valitus kuinka joka paikkaan sattuu ja muutaman (?!) minuutin jälkeen jo luovutti. YAY BEX!

Kat & Mo menivät aidan yli tuossa samoihin aikoihin kun kisa alkoi. Syy tähän oli banaanit, joita vain HOH-kisaajat (eli gorillat) saavat syödä. Rikkoivat siis kahta sääntöä, ja rangaistuksesta ilmoitetaan myöhemmin...

Mo tuntui olevan varma, että kaikki muut ovat äänestyksessä ensi viikolla paitsi he... Lisa luulee, että BB vaan passittaa heidät vankilaan.

Kathreyalle ja Mohamedille annettiin 30min aikaa pakata tavaransa. Kat yllättäen aloitti itkuparkushow'n ja luulee, että he joutuvat lähtemään. Nyt BB alkoi soittaa "crowd noisea" taloon

Shock! Big Brother has asked Kathreya and Mohamed to pack their suitcases, after the pair stole and ate bananas during the Hanging Around Task, despite being warned not to.

After the announcement, Kathreya burst into tears, and Rachel comforted her, before also beginning to cry.

"Oh my God," Sara repeated. "Oh my God."

"That's an ejection," predicted Stuart.

"It's not," Sara gasped. "They would not. I dunno... oh no!"

But Luke was more sceptical: "No, it's blatantly psychological. They'll make 'em pack 'em."

Mohamed laughed about the announcement with Rex, before hugging a sobbing Kathreya.

"Kat, Kat it doesn't mean anything," Rebecca insisted to the masseuse. "It's not gonna happen. They're not going to chuck you out. I promise you a million per cent they're not."

"It's a mind game," Luke assured her.

And Sara agreed: "They're not gonna get rid of Kat and Mo!"

Angels given right to talk nominations

The heavenly housemates have been given the right to discuss nominations inside a special nominations pod.

The entire group was confined to the main house for two hours this afternoon. When housemates were allowed back outside, they saw that a glass booth had been set up in the garden.

Stuart read from a laminate provided by Big Brother: "Nominations will take place as usual tomorrow. There is a nominations pod in the garden. Only Head of House and heavenly housemates can access the nominations pod."

He went on to tell his fellow Angels that they will be permitted to discuss nominations inside the pod and must do so or else they will be punished.

"You've really got to give it some in there," Stu advised.

As Rex and Stu took the first turn inside the pod, which can only hold two of the Heaven group at one time, they soon came to the conclusion that whoever they decide to nominate will be up for eviction.

After a brief tactical discussion, the pair left the pod to seek clarification from Big Brother on exactly what they are allowed to talk about.
