Details about the auditions for the final series of Big Brother on Channel 4 have been announced.

The show, which will air next summer, is hosting open auditions for contestants around the UK and Ireland in the New Year.

A statement on the Channel 4 website claims that 14,000 people have already applied online for the chance to be on the programme's 11th run.

"Could you be part of one of the biggest television series of the decade? Have you got what it takes to leave behind your loved ones, your luxuries and control of your destiny next summer?" reads the message.

"As Big Brother prepares to open its doors one last time on Channel 4, this is your chance to be part of the Big Brother story. Could you be the next Chanelle, Halfwit, Nadia, Rodrigo or Brian?"

Auditions take place in Manchester Central Convention Complex from January 15 to January 16, Dublin's RDS on January 19 and Cardiff International Arena on January 23. The try-outs continue at the SECC in Glasgow on January 30 and end at Wembley Arena from February 6 to February 7.

Sitä ei vielä tiedetä, varmaankin tulevan vuoden kesäkuussa, kuten ilmeisesti on ollut aina ekasta BB:stä lähtien.

Endemol UK (BB:n luojan brittiläinen tytäryhtiö) on kyllä yrittänyt kaupitella BB:n tuottamisoikeuksia muillekin, mutta tällä hetkellä kaikki isot kanavat (BBC, Five, ITV, Sky ja muutama muu) ovat ilmeisesti vastanneet ei kiitos, joten huonolta näyttää.

Toivotaan, että viimeinen kausi tulee olemaan menestys kaikin puolin. Viime kausi oli hyvin heikko, ja heikon kauden jälkeen tulee aina hyvä kausi. Odotukset ovat korkealla. Jos hyvin käy, niin ties vaikka joku toinen kanava (ITV?) poimisi BB:n ohjelmistoonsa ensi vuodeksi.

Viimeisen BB:n silmä on paljastettu...

Kaks pre-season spessujaksoa tullu, Big Brother's Big Awards Show ja Big Brother Exposed - The Inside Story.

Kattelin just palkintoshown, Davina valinnu esim. parhaan bitchin, bad boyn, parin, riidan jne. ja paljastettii katsojien suosikkikausi, joka ei niin yllättäen oli kausi nro. 7. Ei edes muistelomielessä kummonen, samat tuhat kertaa nähdyt klipit taas kerran koosteena.

Inside Storya on kehuttu, vielä kattomatta, toivottavasti on hyvä.

Laitanpa ihan uuden postauksen. Toi Inside Story oli tosi hyvä! Big Brotherin historia alusta (melkein) loppuun, ihan alun hollantikohtien jälkeen tietty britti-BB:hen keskittyen.

Suosittelen niille jotka katto alkukausia suomitöllöstä, niille jotka katto myöhempiä brittikausia netistä, niille jotka on kattonu pelkästään suomibeebeetä.. itseasiassa kaikille.

Dokumentti oli oikein mielenkiintoista seurattavaa, kiitos vinkistä. Voisivat näyttää tuon Suomessakin.

Kun ei ole ihmeemmin perehtynyt britti-BB:n kohokohtiin, Big Brother's Big Awards Show oli ihan katsottava. Pitää tarkistaa, onko täällä tehty vastaavaa äänestystä. Jonkin vastaavanlaisen ohjelman voisivat tehdä sitten kun BB joskus Suomessa loppuu.

Ohoh, en oo ilmeisesti vielä hehkuttanu Emma Willisin mukaantuloa BBLB:hen. Suosikkivieras aina kun on vieraillu ohjelmassa eli usein, aidosti BB-fani ja iiih helppo silmälle, eli täydellinen valinta!

Oliskin ollu typerää lopettaa sarja ilman liveä, kuitenkin ollut ihan ensimmäisestä BB:stä lähtien olennainen osa koko formaattia. Pitää yrittää jotenkin keplotella itelle ainaki day pass joku kerta.

Noiden kuvien perusteella vaikuttaa siltä, että saattaisi olla parhaimman näköiset puitteet mitä britti-bbssä on ikinä nähty.

Vähän tulee balticin yökerho mieleen, mutta ei se mitään haittaa, hyvät muistot sieltäkin on.

Monena aikaisempana vuonna ollut aika askeettisen näköistä muoviämpäritouhua, semmoista värikästä mutta ankeeta. Hyvä kun siitä on päästy pois.
