Pity the exchange is over.

Well the housemates in BBN would have liked to have her longer as well as the Norwegian audience. She was great fun, and got them to do a lot more things than they would have come up with.

Pity the exchange is over.

Same feelings here. Glad to hear that she made a good impression on you as well. I followed the Swedish house the whole time, was a real joy from the first day forward. Janica would also have loved to stay for another week or maybe even longer. She was almost a different person over there, much happier and she really liked everyone. Now she's a bit depressed, coming back to a house where some are backstabbers or plain mean toward her. Luckily, she has some really good friends here as well.
She hasn't spoken bad things about anyone in NBB, she misses mostly Roberto, David, Tine and Joakim. She said that she'd surely meet at least Roberto and David here in Finland after the BB has finished.

That's her view on the matters.

Then again, Janica has fueled the situation herself by just up and deciding not to like Annika. This has been going on since the early days of the season (apparently pretty much the same way Siv Anita has just up and decided not to like David, even though Janica doesn't talk about it openly to Annika). Also, since her first night back in the Finnish house, she's been interpreting every glance or expression as supposedly having something to do with her... even where that's just her imagination.

Things are a bit complicated for Janica right now as it's partially true, partially her own doing and an attitude problem for which she can only blame herself, and partially just her imagination running wild.

In a way it is a pity that they get to the point of disliking each other so intensely. Andreas and David here don't like each other much, but they could talk civilly to each other, especially when they weren't drunk.

On the other hand we also want some confrontation and discussion to make it more fun for us to watch. The first weeks in BBN was like a camping trip with a group of friends. Boring.

This is exactly the thing that I have thought about. Maybe there is good mood in the BBN but the thing is that confrontations and conflicts betweeen the housemates bring some intrest into the finnish big brother house. When everybody just get along there is a danger that in a long run it becomes boring to the viewers. This is just my opinnion :D

Yes that’s true. Our housemates have been chosen this year on purpose in a way, that they represent extreme opposites to each other. And Big Brother is using this very effectively in the tasks, which have been very interesting to watch and to observe how people’s relationships develop. As soon as BB sees, that some people don’t get along, they start to emphasize it and feed the feud during weekly tasks. They give some people dominative roles and other people submissive roles and separate people in small groups, courage people to plot against each other etc.

But with this Janica-Annika feud the viewers are already gotten too tired of it all. Now we’ve had enough of Big Brother emphasizing their bad feelings towards each other and keeping the feud on with tasks, video clips etc. Now it would be more interesting to see, how they would work together, for example if BB would make them rely only to each other instead of setting them up against each other all the time. I want to see Annika and Janica in a task against all the others next! [smilie=a_cool.gif]

That sounded like a really good idea Mirian. That they discuss and argue is great, but it should be of their own choice and not sort of fueled by BB.

The casting in Norway has in my eyes been lousy this year. The girls big books and blond hair interested mainly in sleeping, eating and putting on makeup. Of course with the odd Tine there as an alibi. You seem to have a much more diversified group of people. That does make for a better show.

Now BBF seems more structured too. They get up in the morning have breakfast together, have their work cut out for them too, while here they sleep nearly to lunch, eat and nibble all day, have of course a task for the week(haven't gotten it yet for this week) but it usually are just for a few hours.

Basically it seems like the planning and casting are way better in BBF. Everybody here yearn for the 2001 BBN.
