Yeah, our housemates are a bit sloppy that way...kaja_slo kirjoitti:Ha,ha now she's telling that there was a lot of dirt in the house, nobody was cleaning, dirty clothes everywhere....
Also, the Finnish Big Brother "house" itself - which is newly built from ground up for this season and is actually located in an industrial warehouse of some sort - is apparently misdesigned in several ways:
1. Now that the winter is coming on and the weather has been getting steadily colder in Finland, the housemates - including Sandra during the last few days of her visit - have been complaining about it being too cold in the house; especially in the bedroom. A couple of days ago Marika spent a long time just sitting on the bathroom floor, leaning her back against the tumble dryer, because it was so warm and nice when it was going through its cycle. So the house is either inadequately heated or the heating system (or the insulation in the walls, floor and ceiling) is inadequate.
2. On several occasions, the housemates have been complaining about something smelling like poo or sewer in the bedroom. The last time they talked about this was tonight before going to sleep. It's probably an inaccessible, dried-up drain somewhere inside or below the structures.
3. The housemates have also been complaining that the air is too dry inside the house, and it feels stuffy in there. Sounds like a badly designed ventilation system.
Not to mention the decor this year is too simplistic and just plain dull-gray ugly, and the yard appears to be smaller than last year.
In conclusion, the 2010 house is apparently much shittier than the one they originally built when Big Brother first started in Finland, and which they have used for the last five seasons. (They had to stop using that place as their rental agreement for that building run out and when there was also a new road built through its former yard.) If there will be another season of Big Brother Finland, I sincerely hope they're going to fix those fundamental basic flaws in the new house instead of just making some cosmetic/decor changes.
The ironic thing is that one of the main sponsors of Big Brother Finland is a construction company, Finndomo, who has recently got bad rap on the press about constructing lots of new homes with mold issues and they have also provided the structures for this year's Big Brother house.
